Every document uploaded to CrazyDocument is protected with bank-grade 256-bit AES encryption — the same standard used by financial institutions and governments worldwide. Your files are encrypted both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.
We never view, read, or share your documents. Your files belong to you — not us. No employee, contractor, or third party has access to your document contents. Processing happens in isolated, encrypted environments.
Delete any document at any time and it's gone forever — permanently erased from our servers with no recovery possible. You have full control over what stays and what goes. No hidden copies, no backups kept without your consent.
Your documents are stored on SOC 2-compliant cloud infrastructure with redundant backups, firewalls, and 24/7 monitoring. We follow industry best practices for infrastructure security and access control.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or document data to anyone — ever. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to partners. Your privacy is not for sale.
When you protect a PDF with a password, the encryption key never leaves your possession. We cannot open, read, or recover password-protected documents — only someone with the password can access them.

No. Document contents are never accessed by any human at CrazyDocument. All processing is automated and happens in encrypted, isolated environments. We can see metadata (file name, size, upload date) for operational purposes, but never the contents of your files.
When you delete a document, it is permanently and irreversibly erased from our servers. A confirmation dialog asks 'Delete forever?' to prevent accidental deletion. Once confirmed, the file and all associated data are removed immediately and cannot be recovered by anyone — including our team.
Never. We do not share, sell, or disclose your documents to any third party. Your files are processed solely to deliver the tools you requested (editing, converting, signing, etc.) and are never used for any other purpose.
Your documents remain in your account only as long as you choose to keep them. You can delete any file at any time. Inactive accounts with no documents are subject to automatic cleanup after 24 months, but you'll receive email notice before any action is taken.
Yes. When you use AI features, your document content is sent securely to our AI processing partner for analysis and is not stored or used for training. The response is returned to you and the processing context is discarded.
When you send a document for signature or as a fillable form, only the specific recipient receives a secure, token-protected link. No one else can access the document. Tokens expire automatically and links become invalid after the deadline you set.
